Bagnall, Kyle W.
Brown (1887-1973) was born and raised on a farm in Jeddo, Sanilac County, Mich. After 8th grade, Will attended Ferris Institute, now Ferris State University, to take take his teacher's exam and began a long career as a teacher. In 1911 he purchased a camera and then photographed CMU students, clubs, teams, and buildings, while there which he sold as postcards. He attended CMU for 3.5 years graduating in 1915 from the Vocational Agriculture department. He married Myrtie Garnder in 1915. In 1935 Will earned a M.A. in Horticulture from Michigan State University. Over the years he taught school and served as a school supervisor in many locations in Tuscola, St. Clair, Macomb, Genesee, Ionia, Huron, and Sanilac counties, Mich., as well as in Cleveland, Craven County, N.C. When not teaching, Will worked at Mueller Brass, Port Huron, in the millwright department making cabinets. He had two children, Gay and Tom. Kyle is Gay's son.
