King, R. L. (Robert Lethbridge), Rev
Phillip Parker King (father of Robert) would have been a member of the N.S.W. Legislative Council at the time this letter was written. Following his successful voyages of exploration he had been paid off in 1830, and had retired to a property in N.S.W.
