King, W. Bernard (Walter Bernard), 1900-
W. Bernard King received his B.S. (1923) from the University of Illinois and his M.S. (1924) and Ph. D (1930) from Iowa State College (University). His research interests were in the field of inorganic chemistry and catalysis, including the behavior of hydrogen sulfide as a solvent. Dr. King came to the Iowa State Chemistry Dept. as an Instructor (1923-1931); Assistant Professor (1931-1944); Associate Professor (1944-1950) and Full Professor (1950-1970).
