Sussman, Marvin B.

Sussman served on the faculty of the Department of Sociology and the Department of Sociology and Anthropology at Western Reserve University between 1955 and 1967. After the 1967 merger of Case Institute of Technology and Western Reserve University to form Case Western Reserve University, Sussman served as Professor of Sociology and Chairman of the Department of Sociology (1962 to 1971), and as Director, Institute on Family and Bureaucratic Society (approximately 1969 to 1975). After 1977, he was a faculty member of the Bowman Gray Medical School of Wake Forest University.
