Cornick, Boyd, 1856-1933
Physician. Born in 1856, Dr. Cornick became a specialist in the treatment of tuberculosis. Moved to San Angelo, Texas, in 1891 after he contracted the disease himself. After his recovery from tuberculosis, Dr. Cornick organized a tuberculosis clinc, became active in state and local medical associations, and served on the Texas State Board of Health. He and his wife, Louise, had five children: Sophie, Amie, Philip, Elsie, and George. Dr. Cornick died in 1933.
