McKelvey, Peter B.

Peter B. McKelvey was a physician of New Orleans who served as a Confederate States Army surgeon and a hospital inspector for the War Department's Department of Alabama, Mississippi, and East Louisiana, in Selma, Alabama. After the war, McKelvey was resident physician of the "Quarantine Station" and subsequently returned to his medical practice in New Orleans.
