California Wine Association
Worldwide wine concern, founded in 1894, operating in Calif., with headquarters in San Francisco and New York; liquidated ca. 1941. The association owned its own vineyards, wineries, storage cellars, and bottling facilities. From 1926 to 1942, distribution of its wines was done under the "Calwa" brand name.
