King, Ginevra, 1898-1980
Ginevra King was a beautiful debutante from Lake Forest, Ill., with whom Fitzgerald had a romantic relationship from 1915 to 1917. For Fitzgerald, King was the archetype of an attractive, independent, uperclass woman, and she provided inspiration for characters in his later fiction.
