Born at Winnipeg, Manitoba on Jan. 10, 1892. Family moved to Grand Forks, N.D. Graduate of University of North Dakota. Feature writer in Shanghai, China (1920-1922), wrote for Fargo Forum (N.D.), author of mystery novels and regional history. Died Saint Paul, Minn. on May 20, 1961.
