Wisconsin. Bureau of Railroads and Harbors
The Bureau of Railroads and Harbors was established within the Division of Transportation Assistance (WIHV85-A791) of the Dept. of Transportation (WIHV85-A1884) in 1978.
The Bureau oversees departmental programs that assist local units of government and the private sector in the provision of railroad and harbor services. It provides advice, financial assistance, planning, engineering and other services to support the acquisition, development, and maintenance of facilities and services.
