Evangelical Missions Information Service
Evangelical specialized service agency; established in 1964 under the joint efforts of the Interdenominational Foreign Mission Association (IFMA) and the Evangelical Foreign Missions Association (EFMA) to publish the journal THE EVANGELICAL MISSIONS QUARTERLY (EMQ); established Information Center to provide research services for evangelical missions, 1969; besides EMQ, developed further publications including LATIN AMERICAN PULSE, MUSLIM WORLD PULSE, EMISSARY, MISSIONARY NEWS SERVICE, and others; coordinated consultations and workshops on mission-related topics and also provided charter flight service for missionaries.
