Dowling, Harry F. (Harry Filmore), 1904-2000
Dr. Dowling was clinical professor of medicine, George Washington University (1940-1950), and professor and head, Department of Medicine, University of Illinois (1951-1969). His research interests dealt primarily with infectious diseases, including work with serums, sulfonamides, and antibiotics.
