Randall, Lilian M. C.
Lilian M. C. Randall, born Lilian M. C. Cramer, received her B.A. From Mount Holyoke College in 1951 and her M.A. (1951) and Ph.D. (1955) from Radcliffe College. She was the Curator of Manuscript and Rare Books at the Walters Art Gallery in Baltimore, Maryland from 1974 to 1985 and the Research Curator from 1985 to 1997. Randall is best known, however, as a highly influential scholar specializing in Medieval and Renaissance manuscripts. Her seminal work "Images in the Margins of Gothic Manuscripts," was published in 1966.
