Sanders family.
The Sanders were inhabitants of various towns in Madison County, Florida. The materials reveal that family members and correspondents lived in Ebb, Quitman, Mosley Hall, and Greenville. Edward B. Sanders (1848-1923) and his wife Almera E. Sanders (1855-1941) were parents to a daughter who died in infancy. Also included is the correspondence of Mamie Sanders, who was a young girl at the time the letters were written. Mamie Sanders is the sister of Mabel Sanders (1870-1955). The Sanders were involved in cultivation of cotton and shade tobacco, among other enterprises.
