Perry, H. Mitchell (Horace Mitchell), 1923-
Physician (1923-2002). Perry received his medical degree from Washington University School of Medicine in 1946. After serving in the Army Medical Corps, Perry joined the faculty of his alma mater, retiring as professor emeritus of medicine in the early 1990s. Perry was an early pioneer in the study and treatment of hypertension. He served as director of the Division of Hypertension and the Hypertension Clinic within the university's Department of Internal Medicine, and also directed the Hypertension Section at the St. Louis Veteran's Administration Hospital.
