Breedlove, Jeff.

Jeff Breedlove, along with his wife Kathryn Ballou, has been active in Republican Party politics, both nationally and in the state of Georgia since the early 1980s. He graduated from Georgia State University, and while a student became active in Young Republican and College Republican organizations. He has worked on both national and Georgia political campaigns, including those of J.D. Hayworth of Arizona and Bob Barr of Georgia. Breedlove served as a senior staff member to Rep. Barr in both Washington, D.C. and in his district office during the historic 104th and 105th Congresses (1995-1998). He has traveled to China on a U.S. Department of State sponsored trip as a delegate with the American Council of Young Political Leaders, and has hosted Chinese delegations in Atlanta as well. He serves as staff vice-chair for The National Conference of State Legislatures on their Transportation Committee, and as a member of The Council of State Governments Southern Legislative Conference Committee on Economic Development, Transportation and Cultural Affairs. In 2004 he worked in the International Media Center and on the Welcoming Committee at Hunter Army Air Field for the G-8 Summit on Sea Island, Georgia. Breedlove serves as the voluntary Georgia state director of Sister Cities International, and is on the board of directors of the Georgia China Alliance. He currently works as a policy analyst for the Georgia state senate's Research Office. Among the committees he oversees are Interstate Cooperation, Retirement, State Institutions and Property, and Transportation. Jeff and Kathryn currently live in the Morningside neighborhood of Atlanta with their son Lawrence Foster "Jack" Breedlove.
