Thirty-Sixth Division Association.
Founded at Brownwood, Texas, in January 1946 by veterans who served with the 36th Division during World War II. After Sept. 1947, membership was open to those who served in the Division during World War I, also. The association holds annual reunions to perpetuate the comradeship engendered by their common service.
