The Louisiana State University Office of Computing Services was established around 1991. It became the Office of Information Technology Services in 2006. It creates and maintains university systems; provides network, wireless, and telephone connectivity campus-wide; houses the computational resources used by many LSU researchers; staffs and maintains student computing labs; and provides direct support to computer users at LSU.
