Schwabe, George B., 1886-1952.
George B. Schwabe served in the Oklahoma House of Representatives, 1919-1922, and as Speaker of the Oklahoma House, 1921-1922. He was very active in the Republican Party and was elected from Oklahoma's First District to the U.S. House of Representatives for the Seventy-ninth, Eightieth, and Eighty-second Congresses, 1944-1948, 1950-1952. Schwabe served on the Appropriations Committee and as the ranking Republican on the Subcommittee for Labor and Federal Security.
