Raymond, Percy E. (Percy Edward), 1879-1952
Percy Edward Raymond graduated from Cornell in 1902. From 1904 to 1910 he was assistant curator in charge of Invertebrate Paleontology at the Carnegie Museum in Pittsburgh, PA. By 1929, he was a full professor at Harvard University. He was active in the Paleontology Society of America of which he was president in 1934. He wrote many articles on paleontology, stratigraphy and sedimentation. Raymond studied pewter as a hobby and wrote many articles on this topic as well. He was also instrumental in founding the Pewter Club of America.
