McClung, John A. (John Alexander), 1804-1859

This manuscript was found in the attic of the Orlando Brown House, Frankfort, Ky. It was originally in the manuscript collection presented to the society by Annie H. and Mary Watts Brown, of Frankfort. Identified June 9, 1970, by Professor Stuart Sprague, History Department, Morehead State University. Previously it had been identified as the Mann Butler manuscript no. 142.
