McClure, Nathaniel F. (Nathaniel Fish), 1865-1942

Nathaniel Fish McClure (b. July 21, 1865, Crittenden, Kentucky-d. June 26, 1942), Brigadier General, U.S. Army, graduated from West Point in 1887 and served in Puerto Rico, the Philippines, and Northern Mexico. During World War I, he served in France and was assigned duty in the Office of the Chief of Staff. Following the War, General McClure was assistant commandant, U.S. Disciplinary Barracks, Fort Leavenworth, and later was assigned to the Signal Corps. He retired from the Army in June 1930.
