Grant Monument Association (New York, N.Y.)
Organized 1885 to raise funds for, and erect, a national monument over the grave of Ulysses S. Grant in New York City. Monument dedicated in 1897. In 1959 title to the structure was transferred to National Park Service. Monument renamed General Grant National Memorial.
