Wray, Henry, 1824-1900
Soldier and administrator. Officer of the Royal Engineers who arrived in Western Australia in 1851. Oversaw the construction of bridges, roads and buildings by convicts and men from the Royal Sappers and Miners. Acted as Comptroller-General of Convicts, 1856-1858.
