University of Virginia. Office of the President
The Master Planning Council was established in 1989 to advise the President on long-range physical planning for the University of Virginia. It recommends and maintains a master plan for the use of existing buildings and facilities and for the future development of the buildings and grounds of the University. The Council originally reported to the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. After that position was abolished it reported directly to the President.
