Theresa Mott was secretary to William Loach, general manager of the Wolf Tongue Mining Company.
The Wolf Tongue Mining Company was a subsidiary of the Firth-Sterling Steel Company of McKeensport, Pennsylvania. It began its operations in the Grand Island Mining District of Colorado with the opening of the great ore producing Gold Spring Mine, located northeast of Nederland, Colorado, on 4 January 1904. The Illinois Mine, located northwest of Nederland, was the company's other principal tungsten mine.
