Walker-Meador, Jo;
Executive director of the Country Music Association (CMA) from 1962-1991. Born February 16, 1924. Played an important role in the growth of the country music broadcasting industry. Under her leadership the CMA was instrumental in expanding the number of country radio stations, and creating the Country Music Hall of Fame, the Country Music Foundation, the CMA Awards Show, and Fan Fair. Member, Country Music Hall of Fame.
