Watts family.
Watts family of New York City and England. Hon. John Watts (1715-1789) was a merchant and member of the Governor's Council in New York Province, who returned to England in 1775. His son John Watts, Jr. (1749-1836) was a New York attorney and land speculator. His other son Robert Watts (1743-1814) had a son, Dr. John Watts (1785-1831).
