Snyder, Dean A. (Dean Atlee), 1903-1999

Dean Atlee Snyder (1903-1999) served in various capacities in the Federal Security Agency (FSA) and in the Department of Health, Education, and Welfare (HEW). He was Assistant Director of the Office of Community War Service (OCWS), 1942-1945; Associate Director of the Office of War Property Distribution (OWPD), 1945-1946; Deputy Commissioner of Special Services, 1947-1951; and as Defense Coordinator in FSA and as Emergency Coordinator in HEW.
