Owen, William Henry, 1874-
William Henry Owen was born in New York City in 1874. He received a B.A. and M.A. from Yale University and in 1901 was ordained a priest in the Protestant Episcopal Church. From 1906 to 1922 he served as rector of Trinity Church, Mount Vernon, New York and from 1922 until his retirement in 1937 he was rector of Holy Trinity Church, New York City. From 1931 until 1944 he was also associate curator of coins in the Yale University Library. He died on May 27, 1944.
