Gale, Robert L., 1919-
Robert L. Gale was a professor of American Literature at the University of Pittsburgh. Though his academic focus had been on 19th century American Literature, he later developed a specialty in Western American Literature. His numerous published books and booklets included writings on American authors Louis L'Amour, Will Henry, and Matt Braun.
