Walton, J. B. (James Burdge), 1813-1885
Colonel J.B. Walton was commander of the Washington Artillery, a volunteer artillery organization founded in New Orleans, La. The Washington Artillery first fought in the Mexican-American War and later participated in the Civil War as part of the Army of Northern Virginia.
