Morse, Richard Cary, 1841-1926
Richard C. Morse, born in 1841 in Hudson, New York, was a journalist, Prebyterian minister, and prominent leader in the YMCA, where he served as editor and publisher of the Association News and as general secretary of the YMCA's Executive Committee (later the International Committee) from 1872 to 1915. Morse was one of the original members of the YMCA's World Committee and was active in the New York City association.
