Walton, R. D. (Ray D.) 1921-
In 1853, twenty members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints left Wales on the ship Troubadour for America. A conference was held in Llanelli in 1854, with "their President, Captain Daniel Jones" in attendance, about immigrating to Salt Lake. In 1854, one hundred "miners" left Liverpool on the ship Middlesex for America.
