Morgan, John, 1792-1866
Soldier, public servant and publicist. Appointed storekeeper to the Swan River Colony in 1828 and sailed with his wife and daughter on the "Parmelia" to Western Australia in 1829. Encountered financial difficulties in the Colony and asked to be considered for a half-pension.
