Montgomery, Daniel, 1789-1855.
Daniel Montgomery (1789-1855) was a surveyor, large landowner, farmer, distiller, miller, and mule raiser of Sumner County, Tennessee. He engaged in extensive farming operations and operated a grist mill, a sawmill and a whiskey distillery at Shackle Island in Sumner County.
