North, Dorothy
Dorothy North was an active supporter of the Woman's Peace Party and other progressive causes affiliated with Jane Addams and Hull-House. North also supported Maurice Brown's "Trojan Women" in the hopes that their nationwide production of Euripides' ancient anti-war drama would help keep America out of World War I.
