Marsh, R. B.
Universalist minister in Michigan who was asked to take the Universalist Church in Peoria, Illinois. His beliefs were considered liberal and the Illinois Universalist Convention was hesitant to accept his letter from Michigan and to give him acceptance into the Illinois church. Rev. L.W. Brigham of the Convention informed Marsh of their desire to question him to "prove" himself. Marsh enlisted the help of John Morris, a Chicago lawyer and Universalist to help him.
