Evanston Historical Society (Ill.)
Founded in 1898; in 1960 the historical society moved in to the Charles G. Dawes House and the Dawes House museum project was undertaken in cooperation with the Junior League of Evanston and Northwestern University to restore the Dawes House and establish new and enlarged museum facilities.
