Ricker, Chester S.

Chief timer and scorer for the Indianapolis 500. Born in Cochituate, Mass. on May 30, 1888, he was also director of timing and scoring for the American Automobile Association. His vocation was as a technical automotive writer. He patented the photometer, an automobile headlight fixture and was president of Day-Nite, Inc. which manufactured the product.
