Syntex Corporation.
Arapahoe Chemicals, founded in 1946 in Boulder, Colo., manufactured fine, specialized organic intermediates. Richard C. Waugh was its president. The company became a division of Syntex Corporation in 1965. Dr. Alejandro Zaffaroni was a director of Syntex at the time.
