Hope, Cliff.
Clifford Hope, Jr. was the son of Clifford R. Hope, a Republican representative from the state of Kansas. Hope, Jr. briefly served on the staff of US senator James B. Pearson before returning to Finney County to practice law in 1963. He was a prominent Finney County attorney, state legislator, county commissioner, and involved in a variety of social organizations.
