Davis, John T., 1948-

John T. Davis is a music journalist, who focuses primarily on music, music personalities, and culture in Texas and the Southwest. His work has appeared in the Austin-American Statesman, the Austin Chronicle, Texas Monthly, Austin Monthly, Texas Highways, San Antonio magazine, Billboard, and Newsday . Furthermore, he appeared in the documentary film, Lubbock Lights . He authored the book Austin City Limits: 25 Years of American Music and assisted in the preparation of other books, including a biography of Jerry Jeff Walker and a travel guide to Texas.
