Archer, Sibyl Mae.
Sibyl Mae Archer was an evangelical preacher who worked throughout the United States and Mexico. With her husband J.W., she toured throughout the Midwest and Southwest states, starting in the 1930s. After her husbands death, Reverend Archer continued her work through radio programs in St. Joseph, Missouri. Her mission emphasized Spanish-speaking audiences throughout the region, including areas such as California. Reverend Archers mission also had operations based in the Mexican state of Veracruz. In her later years, Ms. Archer lived in El Paso, where her White Dove at El Paso (La Paloma Blanca) mission continued to administer faith healing services to local citizens as late as the 1970s.
