Robert Lind was born in 1907 and lived in Hartwood, Lanarkshire. From 1926 he attended the University of Glasgow , Scotland, where he studied Mathematics, Natural Philosophy and Chemistry. He continued his studies in Mathematics and Chemistry in sessions 1927-1928 and 1928-1929 . However, in the academic sessions from 1929-1931 he went to the Royal Technical College, Glasgow , to study Botany, Pharmacy and Pharmacognosy. Robert Lind graduated from the University of Glasgow in 1931 and became a pharmacist. Robert Lind died in the late 1970s.
