Williams, Mr. (Thomas), 1825-1903
Thomas Williams was a lawyer and planter residing in Wetumpka, Ala. He also served as justice of the peace, register in chancery, prison inspector and a trustee of the Alabama Polytechnic Univ. at Auburn, Ala.
In 1878 he was elected to the Ala. legislature and was later elected to the U.S. Congress, where he served three terms.
