Administrative Board of Harvard and Radcliffe Colleges

The Administrative Board of Harvard was established under the Faculty of Arts and Sciences when that body was created in 1890. It was renamed the Administrative Board of Harvard and Radcliffe Colleges as a result of an agreement between the two colleges made in 1971. A branch of the Administrative Board, The Chapter, was appointed to consider minor disciplinary cases. The Chapter consisted of the Dean, Assistant Dean and Registrar of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences.
