The meeting was known earlier as the managing directors meeting and sometimes involved division directors and Church auxiliary presidents and committee heads from organizations including the Melchizedek Priesthood General Committee, the Music Division, the Sunday School, the Primary Association, the Relief Society, the Young Men, the Young Women, and the Activities Committee.
