Instructor and Assistant Professor at Brown University, 1919-1920; Instructor, Assistant Professor and Curator of Farlow Herbarium, Harvard University, 1920-1931; Professor at Shaw School of Botany, Washington University; and Professor at University of Vermont, from 1963.
