W.S. Tyler Company
International wire mesh manufacturing concern founded in 1872, in Cleveland, Ohio, by Washington S. Tyler. It absorbed the Standard Co., another wire producer, in 1918. It became a subsidiary of Combustion Engineering, Inc. in 1970. Its products were used primarily in elevator construction and mining machinery.
